It's not often we get something for nothing, but in the case of Apple doubling the iPhone SE storage, that's exactly what we got.

Not even attracting its own media release and just quietly announced as one in a batch of product releases, the iPhone SE got a big boost in storage yesterday.

A note from Apple Australia explains:

iPhone SE, the most powerful phone with a four-inch display, will be available beginning Saturday, 25 March, in 32GB and 128GB models, doubling the current capacity and replacing 16GB and 64GB models, all at the same starting price of RRP A$679 inc. GST at Apple.com and Apple Stores.

Something for nothing after all.
